Commit to Build Your Church

1.   Commit to build the Church of Christ.

Matt 16:18 "...on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it."

Col 1:18-19 He is the head of the body, the church; He is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.

2.   Commit to protect the Church.

     Eph 4:14-15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ.

     Prov 12:18 Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.

3.   Commit to build up the members of the Church.

      1 Thess 5:11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

4.   Commit to a long-term membership.

Rev 2:3 You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary.
