Commit to Christ

1.   God is a God of commitments: He makes and keeps His covenant with us.

     Deuteronomy 7:9 Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commands.

2.   A commitment is a vow to be fulfilled

     1 Thessalonians 5:24 The One who calls you is faithful and He will do it.

     Ps 61:8 Then will I ever sing praise to your name and fulfill my vows day after day.

3.   Commitments ensure strong relationships.

      Psalm 9:10 Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you.

4.   Commit to Christ.

     Revelation 2:10 ...Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life.

5.   Seven commitments to a strong spiritual life:

1. Regular daily devotion time

2. Regular daily Bible reading

3. Regular daily prayer

4. Regular weekly giving

5. Regular weekly or daily witness - evangelism

6. Regular fellowship with other believers

7. Regular weekly corporated worship
