God First

Scripture: Deuteronomy 26:1-15

1.      Give to God first in everything.

Dt 26:2 take some of the firstfruits of all that you produce from the soil of the land the LORD your God is giving you. . .”

2.      Giving to God first acknowledges God’s faithfulness.

Dt 26:3 and say to the priest in office at the time, "I declare today to the LORD your God that I have come to the land the LORD swore to our forefathers to give us."

3.      Giving to God first shows the gratitude for God’s salvation.

Dt 26:8 So the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, with great terror and with miraculous signs and wonders.

4.      Giving to God first is an act of worship.

Dt 26:10  And you shall set it down before the LORD your God, and worship before the LORD your God;

5.      Expect God’s blessing when giving to God first.

Dt 26:15 Look down from Your holy habitation, from heaven, and bless Your people Israel, and the ground which You have given us . . .

Ngaøy 29 thaùng 8 naêm 2004

1.     Daâng cho Chuùa tröôùc nhaát trong moïi söï.

Phuïc truyeàn 26: 2 “ thì phaûi laáy hoa quaû ñaàu muøa cuûa thoå saûn mình thaâu-hoaïch trong xöù maø Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôi ban cho ngöôi . . . “

2.     Daâng cho Chuùa tröôùc nhaát ñeå ghi nhaän söï thaønh tín cuûa Chuùa.

Phuïc truyeàn 26:3 Ngöôi seõ tôùi cuøng thaày teá leã laøm chöùc ñang thì ñoù, maø noùi raèng: Ngaøy nay, tröôùc maët Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi oâng, toâi nhaän bieát toâi ñaõ vaøo trong xöù maø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñaõ theà cuøng toå phuï ban cho chuùng toâi.

3.     Daâng cho Chuùa tröôùc nhaát ñeå baøy toû loøng bieát ôn veà söï cöùu roãi cuûa Chuùa

Phuïc truyeàn 26:8 beøn duøng caùnh tay quyeàn naêng giô thaúng ra vaø caùc daáu kyø, pheùp laï lôùn ñaùng kinh khuûng, maø ruùt chuùng toâi khoûi xöù Eâ-díp-toâ,

4.     Daâng cho Chuùa tröôùc nhaát laø haønh ñoäng thôø phöôïng

Phuïc truyeàn 26:10 . . . ñoaïn, ngöôi seõ ñeå hoa quaû ñoù tröôùc maët Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôi, vaø thôø laïy tröôùc maët Ngaøi.

5.     Mong ñôïi phöôùc haïnh cuûa Chuùa khi daâng cho Chuùa tröôùc nhaát.

Phuïc truyeàn 26:15 Caàu Chuùa töø nôi cö-sôû thaùnh cuûa Ngaøi treân trôøi cao, ñoaùi xem vaø ban phöôùc cho daân Y-sô-ra-eân cuûa Ngaøi .
