The Lord Jesus Christ came to earth to be the King of the Jews. Matt
27:11 Meanwhile
Jesus stood before the governor, and the governor asked him,
"Are you the king of the Jews?"
"Yes, it is as you say," Jesus replied. 2)
The Lord Jesus Christ will return to earth again to be the King of
kings. Rev
19:14-16 The
armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and
dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Out of his mouth comes a
sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. "He will
rule them with an iron scepter." He treads the winepress of the
fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he
has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. 3)
Those who are faithful will reign with the King. Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years. ---------------------------***---------------------------
