The Inner War

1.      The inner war is the war between the desire to do good verses the sinful nature within every Christian.

Rom 7:23 but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members.

2.      The inner war  is powerful and continuous.

Rom 7:18-19 I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out.  For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do — this I keep on doing. 

3.      Relying on the self to fight the inner war will lead to despair.

Rom 7:24  What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? 

4.      Relying on Christ Jesus to fight the inner war will lead to victory.

Rom 7:25 Thanks be to God — through Jesus Christ our Lord!

1.      Cuoäc chieán noäi taâm laø cuoäc chieán giöõa loøng muoán laøm ñieàu toát laønh ngöôïc laïi vôùi baûn ngaõ toäi loãi trong moãi Cô ñoác nhaân.

Roâma 7:23 nhöng toâi caûm bieát trong chi theå mình coù moät luaät khaùc giao chieán vôùi luaät trong trí mình, baét mình phaûi laøm phu tuø cho luaät cuûa toäi loãi, töùc laø luaät ôû trong chi theå toâi vaäy.

2.      Cuoäc chieán noäi taâm  coù quyeàn löïc maïnh meõ vaø lieân tuïc.

Roâma 7:18 Vaû, toâi bieát ñieàu laønh chaúng ôû trong toâi ñaâu, nghóa laø trong xaùc thòt toâi, bôûi toâi coù yù muoán laøm ñieàu laønh, nhöng khoâng coù quyeàn laøm troïn; 19 vì toâi khoâng laøm ñieàu laønh mình muoán, nhöng laøm ñieàu döõ mình khoâng muoán.

3.      Nhôø caäy chính mình ñeå chieán ñaáu trong traän chieán noäi taâm seõ daãn ñeán tình traïng tuyeät voïng.

Roâma 7:24 Khoán naïn cho toâi! Ai seõ cöùu toâi thoaùt khoûi thaân theå hay cheát naày?

4.      Nhôø caäy Chuùa Jeâsus Christ ñeå chieán ñaáu seõ daãn ñeán söï chieán thaéng.

Romans 7:25 Caûm taï Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, nhôø Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus Christ, laø Chuùa chuùng ta!
