Salvific Prayer

We all want to be used of God in the work of salvation of others.  How do we begin?  By the salvific prayer.  

1.   Salvific prayer is the first and foremost task of the church

1. Do before everything else:  "First of all" (2:1)

2. Pray with urgency (2:1)

3. Enlarge your prayer:  for everyone

4. Extend your prayer:  to rulers and government

2.   Salvific prayer is in the heart of God (2:3-4)

1. It's in the heart of the Saviour.

2. It's in the heart of the children of God.

3.   The basis for salvific prayer is the Mediator (2:5-6)

1. We can't pray without Him.

2. There is no salvation without Him.

4.  Salvific prayer is the preparation for evangelism (2:7)

• Apostle Paul is the pioneer.

• We obey the Great Commission (Mat 28).
